Women’s soccer signs three freshmen to 2014 squad

The women’s soccer team and Head Coach Arthur Salazar announced the signing of three freshmen to its 2014 squad. Carolina Aguilar from Spring, Texas; Grayson Manfredo from Round Rock, Texas; and Maggie Miller from Manhattan, Kan. signed letters of intent on Monday at the University. The Saints are coming off their best season ever after finishing with a 16-3-1 overall and 6-0 conference record. The team won the Red River Athletic Conference Regular Season and the Conference Tournament for the first time since beginning competition in 2008. The Saints qualified for the NAIA regional tournament, where they lost to Concordia 1-0. At the conclusion of the season, the Saints received a No. 19 ranking in the 2013 NAIA Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll. The team will begin its season in August of 2014.
