Amorrow Morgan is new assistant men’s basketball coach

Amorrow Morgan is the new assistant coach for the Saints’ men’s basketball team. He joins the staff after one season as an assistant for the NCAA Division II University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) men’s basketball team. Prior to UIS, Morgan played for the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) in Northern Germany with the SC Itzehoe Eagles. He led the team in scoring and was third in rebounding. Morgan also gained professional experience as a member of the World Class Aviation Academy Giants from Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands. He played four years for NCAA Division I Idaho State University and was a three-time team captain. In 2012, Morgan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Science and Physical Education with an emphasis on sports management. He is currently working on a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield with an expected completion date of December 2015. Read full story online.
