Men’s tennis wins first-ever NAIA Regional Championship

The men’s tennis team has qualified to the NAIA National Championship after capturing the NAIA Tennis Unaffiliated Group Regional tournament on Saturday. The Saints defeated Red River Athletic Conference rival University of the Southwest (USW) 5-3 in the championship match.

OLLU picked up two victories in doubles competition as Bernardo Pegas and Tanis Martinez teamed up to defeat Maksym Sladkovskyi and Stanislav Smirnov 8-2 on court two. The No. 3 doubles, Jacob Galaviz and Pablo Cavasos defeated Gus Cooper and Amadeus Lopez 8-1. Ross Marzetti and Mathias Rocha were defeated 8-6 on court one.  Read full story online.
