Vote for Dr. Cuevas in the ‘Make It Count’ instructor video contest

MoCuevasMo Cuevas, PhD, director of the Worden School of Social Service and associate professor of social work, has been named one of 10 semi-finalists in Cengage Learning’s “Make It Count” Facebook Instructor Video Contest. Dr. Cuevas has led the way in embedding asynchronous video assignments throughout the Master of Social Work (MSW) curriculum in order to increase the quality of peer-to-peer and student-and-instructor engagement. This and several other enhancements to the program have made it one of the country’s best online MSW programs.

Members of the OLLU community are encouraged to show their support of her efforts by voting for her in the “Make It Count” contest. To vote, click this link, http://bit.ly/23mABAd. Clicking the link will prompt users to login to Facebook where they can cast their vote.

In addition to bringing awareness of the program to a larger audience, each vote will increase the chances that Dr. Cuevas may win $1,000 in scholarship money for one of OLLU’s students. The contest ends on May 8 and participants in the contest can vote daily until that time.
