Women’s soccer gets sixth shutout win in 2-0 defeat of Schreiner

The women’s soccer team recorded its sixth shutout win yesterday after defeating Schreiner University 2-0. The Saints are now 6-2 overall, while the Mountaineers drop to 3-2-2. Head Coach Arthur Salazar said, “I thought the tempo was a bit slow, but we were able to get everyone on the field and saw some good things. We still need to find more consistency within the game and from game to game. This upcoming week off will be good to help rest some players from fatigue and nagging injuries.
