OLLU named to ‘Community Service Honor Roll’ for sixth consecutive year

OLLU has been named to the 2015 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. This is the sixth consecutive year OLLU has received this recognition.

Through the OLLU Center for Service-Learning and Volunteerism, Community Counseling Service, Education Department, Psychology Department, Worden School of Social Service and the Harry Jersig Speech-Language-Hearing Center, students completed 165,048 hours from July 1, 2013-June 30, 2014.

The Honor Roll recognizes institutions that support exemplary community service programs and raise the visibility of effective practices in campus community partnerships. It is the highest recognition an institution can receive for its commitment to community, service-learning and civic engagement.
