The women’s soccer team won a nail-biter against Wiley College on Saturday in its first overtime game of the season. The 1-0 victory keeps the Saints undefeated in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) with a record of 7-0 and 14-2 overall. The Wildcats drop to 3-2-2 in the RRAC and 6-3-2 overall. Head Coach Arthur Salazar commented, “This was a very good win for us against a solid Wiley team. The women showed a lot of fight in a very competitive environment and enough composure to overcome several obstacles. Overall, we had two good tests this week and answered accordingly.”
