OLLUNewsletter
Not only did OLLU senior keeper Gabriela Lopez prevent the University of St. Thomas from scoring in a full 90 minutes of regulation time and two 10-minute overtime periods – she also made the game-winning shot in the shootout to give the Saints their fourth consecutive Red River Athletic Conference Championship title. The Saints tied 0-0, but won 4-3 (6) in the shootout to claim the victory. Their record is now 18-2, while UST ends their season at 13-6 overall. Coach Arthur Salazar was named Conference Coach of the Year.
The Saints will play Baker University from Baldwin City, Kansas on Nov. 19. The time of the game has not yet been announced.
