Men’s basketball defeats Texas College in a defensive slug fest

The men’s basketball team defeated the Texas College (TXC) Steers by a score of 70-53. With the win, the Saints are now 5-2 for the season and 2-0 in Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) play. Texas College falls to 1-8, and 0-2 in conference.

Joe Jackson led the Saints with 18 points on 6-for-12 shooting to go with six blocks. The Steers were led by Nathanial Francis who had 12 points and four rebounds.
