Jennifer Ramirez won the 60m hurdles with a time of 8:88. She also ran the 600m and came in second place with a time of 1:39.90. Sherman said, “With Jennifer the question has never been whether or not she is good but rather just how good is she? Well, it has not taken her long to answer that question pretty emphatically. It has been a long time coming to have a national qualifier in track, and I could not be more proud of her. Coach Terry Smith has done a great job with her, and I am looking forward to continuing to support both of them as we now seek our first individual national championship.”
