Head Coach Stephen Sherman said, “For the most part, results were not quite what we hoped for. However, with what amounts to a four-day turnaround from meet to meet it really is unrealistic to expect drastic improvements from Doane. I’m proud of them all the same.”
In the 60m, Aundrea Culliver (FR/Round Rock, Texas)’s time was 8.18. In the 3000m, Elena Oslund finished at 10:37.88.
Jennifer Ramirez (FR/Las Cruces, N.M.) ran the 60m hurdles in 8.97. Miki Romain (FR/Round Rock, Texas)’s time in the 60m hurdles was 9.12.
“Miki hit a solid ‘B’ qualifying time in the 60m hurdles becoming just the second ever to do so,” said Sherman. “Obviously, we are extremely proud of and excited for her. It’s a great accomplishment.”
The Saints’ next event will be the outdoor Trinity Open hosted by Trinity University on Feb. 25.
