
Psychology students attend conference in Austin
OLLU psychology students recently attended the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy conference in Austin where they made a poster presentation. During their time in Austin, students were also able to participate in “Day at the Dome” where they met with legislators to advocate for issues related to marriage and family therapy, and marriages, and families.
B.E.S.O. students present on bilingual education
OLLU’s Bilingual Education Student Organization (B.E.S.O.) attended the National Association of Bilingual Education (NABE) conference in Dallas on February 22-25. During the conference, students were able to present as well as learn about recent immigration situations in classrooms nationwide. Students also participated in a volunteer opportunity while at the conference.
