OLLU will host the annual Veterans Day ceremony on Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Mall Area.
The ceremony will include Fred Rivera, Vietnam Veteran (U.S. Army) and author of the Pulitzer Prize nominated novel, “Raw Man.” Immediately following the ceremony, Rivera will hold a book signing until 2 p.m. outside the OLLU Bookstore. Copies of “Raw Man” will be available for purchase.
In addition to the celebration in the Mall, there will a viewing and discussion of the film, “Almost Sunrise,” by Michael Collins and Eric Daniel Metzgar from 2:30-4:30 p.m. in the Library Community Room.
