For the third consecutive year, the OLLU volleyball team ended the season with a Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) title. The Saints played their last home conference match last Saturday afternoon and won 3-0 over Texas College, ending their season with a 21-8 overall and 14-0 RRAC record. Texas College (TC) finishes out their season with an overall 0-21 and 0-14 in conference.
OLLU is 18-0 against Texas College since 2008.
During the game, the Saints honored two alumni members from the class of 2009 – Desirea Ramirez (Aguilar) and Norma Fraga. They were give the Alumni Providence Award, and after the Saints game, the rest of the alumni played a scrimmage against the current team. The Saints won 2-1.
