The Human Resources Office will be providing training sessions to all employees and supervisors on the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Sessions will take place on Thursday, Aug. 16, the following times:
- 10-11 a.m.
- 2-3 p.m.
Both sessions will take place in Main Building, Room 311A.
Training objectives include:
- About FMLA
- Employee’s rights and responsibilities under the FMLA
- Recognizing an employee’s need for FMLA
- FMLA recertification
- FMLA best practices
- Intersection of FMLA and ADA
- About ADA
- Interactive process
- Recognizing when an employee is requesting an accommodation
- ADA best practices
