Requirements for employees visiting campus on an as needed basis

Employees needing to visit campus who are not on the Phase I volunteer list must submit a request to police@ollusa.edu by noon the day before the planned visit. OLLU police will respond to requests via email.

Employees visiting on an as-needed basis must arrive for their on-campus visit between 7:30-10:30 a.m. and follow the screening procedure detailed below. Employees are also asked to review the attached “Return to Campus Employee Training” module by the end of the first day they are on campus.

Self-Reporting Illness: Students, faculty or staff experiencing symptoms of the coronavirus COVID-19 are asked to self-report by calling the OLLU Reporting Line at 210-431-3949, calling Health Services at 210-431-3919 or by using this online form:

Read below for other important information.

Screening Process: For Phase I, all employees coming onto campus will be screened when they arrive for the work day. For Phase I, the screening will include a questionnaire and a temperature check. There will be one Drive-Thru Screening Station which will be located in Parking Lot C by the Soccer Field. (See map.) The Screening Station will only be open from 7:30-10:30 a.m., and all must arrive at OLLU during that time.

Questionnaire: Employees are required to complete a screening questionnaire before arriving at the Screening Station.

Drive-Thru Screening: When arriving on campus:

Entering Campus: There will be a limited the number of entrances to some buildings during Phase I. This is done to control traffic flow and limit access as outside visitors will not be part of Phase I. The attached map and list of building entrances identifies all doors individuals can use to enter buildings. All buildings have ADA accessible entrances. The attached map identifies entrances with ramps. (See map.)

Exits have not been altered. All doors that would normally be available to exit from will continue to serve as exits. Note that Providence Road will be closed past the IFCC building for part of Phase I.

Cleaning and Sanitizing: While the OLLU Facilities Management Team will be working hard to clean and sanitize the campus, helping to disinfect is everyone’s job during this time. As such, employees are being asked to wipe down high touch areas in their offices/work areas, including counters, door knobs, light switches, chair arm rests, desks, etc. Disinfectant carts stocked with cleaning supplies will be made available to all employees. For Phase I, the carts will be stationed at Lakeview, St. Ann’s, Sueltenfuss Library, UWAC, Walter Center and Worden. For more information, contact Facilities Management.

Community Standards on Campus: Employees coming to OLLU campuses will wear a face covering over their nose and mouth when in a public place where it is difficult to maintain six feet of distance from others. Face coverings may be removed in an office if the employee is isolated. As recommended by the City of San Antonio guidelines, face coverings do not need to be worn in the following circumstances:
