Caio Ravagnani was recognized as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for the dates of Jan. 25-31. This is the first men’s tennis award of the 2020-2021 season.
Ravagnani claimed two victories as the Saints squared off with both Howard Payne University (HPU) and the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) on Friday. The sophomore from Sao Paulo, Brazil, won at #1 singles, 6-2, 6-2, over HPU’s top player. Ravagnani also teamed with Murilo Saviato to win at #1 doubles, 6-1, over HPU. He lost a pair of matches, one at singles and one at doubles, against NCAA Division I UTRGV opponents. OLLU is now 1-2 as a team on the season.
