‘African American History and Education’ event set for today at 4 p.m.

“African American History and Education” will take place today from 4-5 p.m. in the Library Community Room. The discussion will feature experts and panelists:

The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Valerie A. Martínez, OLLU History Program Head.

In celebration of Black History 365 days a year, the Center for Mexican American Studies and Research and the Departments of Humanities and Social Sciences and English, Mass Communication, and Drama have collaborated to sponsor this event.

 All are invited to join this discussion on the importance of an inclusive approach to education that is representative of our diverse communities and experiences.
