OLLU softball ends season with 7-2 loss to Ottawa

After trailing 7-0 through the seventh inning, the No. 3 OLLU softball team scored two runs, but it was not enough to defeat No. 4 seed Ottawa University in NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round action at Joseph & Nancy Fail Field last Monday.

Ottawa followed the win with a match-up against No. 2 Oklahoma Baptist University in an elimination game at 6:30 p.m., but the Lady Braves lost 5-0 and joined the Saints in ending their seasons. OLLU finishes at 39-12-1, while Ottawa ends at 26-23. Read full article online.
