Megan Perez (JR, Kerrville, Texas) was named Red River Athletic Conference Softball Co-Player of the Week for Feb. 24-March 2. Perez, a junior catcher from Kerrville, Texas, accounted for nine RBIs and four runs scored in a 2-2 week for the Saints. She was 7-for-13 at the plate for the week including a standout performance with three hits, a homer and four RBIs in a 16-4 stomping of Southwestern University (Kan.). Perez homered again and drove in a pair of runs in the second game against SWU. Her line also included three walks and two stolen bases for the week. OLLU now sits at 8-4-1 overall.
