OLLU to host annual Segundo de Febrero event Saturday

OLLU’s Center for Mexican American Studies and Research (CMASR) is collaborating with Academia America and Amistades, Inc. to host the “Chicano Power! Breakfast” on Saturday from 9-11 a.m. in the Library Community Room to commemorate the signing of the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.

During the event, Oscar Dueñez, OLLU SGA President, will present the keynote address, “A Contemporary Reflection on the Segundo de Febrero.”
