OLLU women’s basketball loses at the buzzer to Prairie View A&M in exhibition

The women’s basketball team suffered a 91-92 loss to NCAA DI Prairie View A&M University (PVAM) yesterday. Both teams counted the game as an exhibition, so its outcome does not count against their records. Head Coach Christopher Minner said: “Lots of positives to take. The fourth quarter was very interesting in how the game was officiated. We overcame that to have a chance to win but the last turnover hurt us. Good thing was we learned a lot about ourselves in an exhibition game that does not count. We were able to practice late game situations against an NCAA DI team that is pretty good. This experience will make us better for the games that count. Great first game experience.” Read full article online.
