OLLU women’s basketball has moved up four spots to No. 6 from No. 10 in the second NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Jan. 5. This marks the best ranking ever for the Saints.
Ranked on top is Westmont (Calif.). The third regular-season edition of the poll will be released on Jan. 12.
In the Red River Athletic Conference released on Jan. 4, OLLU (2-0/10-2) holds on to its No. 1 ranking, followed by No. 2 Langston (4-0/6-2), No. 3 Wiley (3-1/9-1) and No. 4s LSU-Shreveport (1-3/6-4) and Huston-Tillotson (2-0/6-2).
The only other Red River team included in the Top 25 Poll is Langston, which jumped from No. 18 to No. 17. Read full story at ollusaintsathletics.com.
