Professor Benavides selected for journalism entrepreneurship institute

Yvette Benavides, MFA, professor of English, has been selected as a fellow to the 2018 Scripps Howard Journalism Entrepreneurship Institute at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.

The Institute is open to journalism instructors, who are interested in infusing the concepts and practices of entrepreneurial journalism into their teaching of journalism.

Benavides is one of 12 fellows, who will be participating in the Institute, which will be held Jan. 2-6, 2018.
