Distinguished alumni authors to speak about their books in three-day series

Three alumni authors will discuss their books in a three-day virtual series that begins Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. via WebEx.

Launched by the Office of Alumni and Family Relations and the Sister Elizabeth Anne Sueltenfuss Library, the series will feature authors D. Anthony Miles (MBA 2003), Mary Jo Shaw (OLL High School 1956, BA 1966) and Jodie Sinclair (OLL High School 1956).

On Tuesday is Miles, a serial entrepreneur, will talk about “How To Get Away With Murder in Marketing: Forensic Marketing.” He is the CEO and Founder of Miles Development Industries Corp., a consulting practice and venture capital firm.

On Wednesday, Shaw will discuss “Convent to Catwalk,” which chronicles her journey of entering a convent, then leaving to become a fashion model. To watch, click the link:

On Thursday, Sinclair, a former television reporter, will discuss “Love Behind Bars: The True Story of an American Prisoner’s Wife.” Sinclair will explain how she went to a Louisiana State Penitentiary in 1981, expecting to write about the death penalty. Instead, she fell in love and married a man accused of murder.
