Women’s basketball shocks No. 7 Langston; sweeps Bacone in weekend wins

OLLU women’s basketball avenged an earlier season loss (91-86) to Langston University with an upset of the No. 7 ranked team in the NAIA. The 82-76 win for the No. 14 Saints moved them to 12-2 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) and 19-5 overall. Langston dropped to 21-2 overall. Read more online.

On Saturday, the women completed their season sweep of Bacone College with a 102-49 win.

The Saints improve to 20-5 overall and 13-2 in the Red River Athletic Conference, while Bacone drops to 6-17 overall and 1-14 in the conference. The No. 14 ranked Saints are tied with the No. 7 ranked Langston University (22-2/13-2) and No. 12 ranked Wiley College (19-2/13-2) for first place in the RRAC. Read more online.
