OLLU has been ranked No. 8 in the Division I Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Postseason Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Wednesday. The Saints received 189 votes. The Saints earned an automatic bid to the national tournament after winning the Red River Athletic Conference Regular Season title with a 16-2 conference record. OLLU defeated Talladega College 97-94 in the first round of the national tournament in Frankfort, Ky. to advance to the Sweet 16 round.
