O’Shea leads OLLU men’s soccer past Oklahoma City

MensSoccer9-6-15The men’s soccer team improved to 3-1 on the season after a 3-1 victory over Oklahoma City University (OCU) at Stars Field on Sunday afternoon. The Saints scored one goal in the first half and two in the second half on their way to their third win of the season. Head Coach Shane Hurley said, “The players had a good approach to the game and deserve to be commended for improved consistency. OLLU women’s soccer falls to Oklahoma City in overtime

WomensSoccer9-6-15The women’s soccer team fell in overtime to Oklahoma City University (OCU) 2-1 at Stars Field Sunday afternoon. OCU scored in the first half to take the lead. OLLU scored in the second half to force overtime. The Stars scored in the final minute to win 2-1. Head Coach Arthur Salazar said, “We have to be better about capitalizing on the chances we create. OLLU volleyball takes first conference match to five sets for a win

Volleyabll 9-5-15The volleyball team played a tough first-conference match and succeeded in edging out the Mustangs from the University of the Southwest (USW) 3-2. The Saints defeated the Mustangs 20-25, 25-21, 25-21, 22-25, 15-11. The win moves the Saints to 1-0 in the Red River Athletic Conference and 5-1 overall, while the Mustangs drop to 0-1 in conference and 3-8 overall. Head Coach Jeremiah Tiffin said, “We won our first conference match and that was our goal. I thought USW played a tremendous match.
