The cross-country teams hosted the Second Annual OLLU Invite last Saturday. The women placed third out of seven teams in the 5k, while the men finished third out of eight teams in the 8k. Head Coach Stephen Sherman said, “I thought the meet went very well. Coach Terry Smith does a very good job with getting the course laid out, and I am proud of the way everything came together for a high-quality event. I also appreciate everything the Windcrest Golf Club and the City of Windcrest helped us with. Our hope is to have the meet continually grow into one of the better meets around.”
