Volleyball team celebrates senior Raven Swain and secures two wins

In a match dedicated to lone senior Raven Swain, the volleyball team took just a little more than an hour to defeat the Wiley College Wildcats 3-0. The Saints improve to 13-7 overall and 8-0 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC), while Wiley drops to 7-6 overall and 5-3 in conference. On Saturday, the Saints continued their dominance with a win against the University of St. Thomas. The Celts threatened to sweep the Saints after securing two spirited set wins, but the Saints came back with a vengeance to destroy the Celts in the last two sets and the tiebreaker. The 3-2 win accounts for the Saints’ 21st consecutive Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) win at home. The last time the Saints lost a RRAC match at Mabee Gym was Oct. 14, 2014, against the former University of Texas at Brownsville. The Saints improve to 14-7 overall and 9-0 in conference, while UST drops to 7-11 overall and 4-5 in conference.
