OLLU to celebrate ‘Indigenous People’s Day’ on Mall today

OLLU will celebrate “Indigenous People’s Day” with food, dancing, poetry and other activities today at 12:15 p.m. on the Mall.

The celebration, which ends at 2 p.m., will include the San Antonio Pow Wow Dancers, indigenous flute and poetry and food and story booths. Mole and tamal plates are free.

The event is sponsored by The Center for Mexican American Studies and Research, the Center for Women in Church and Society and the Multicultural Activities Center.
