Women’s golf completes play at Schreiner Shoot-Out in fourth place

The women’s golf team finished in fourth place out of six teams at the Schreiner Shoot-Out at Comanche Trace on March 8. The Saints shot a total of 363 in round one and 347 in round two for 710 overall.

Head Coach Arnie Martinez commented, “This was a tough tournament. The weather was cold and windy, but our players stayed focused. We learned a lot from this event. We made mistakes on the first day and it affected our scores. The women showed resilience and came out on the second day ready to play. They grinded and played better. I’m proud of them. We didn’t finish how we would have hoped, but we know what we need to work on. We’ll be ready for the next tournament. Go Saints.”
