OLLU Students Win League of Women Voters Visual Art Contest

This past weekend, two student workers, Daniella Bocker and Emelia Garcia, were recognized by the League of Women Voters as winners of their 2024 Youth Contest on the topic of “Voting Decisions: What Matters to You?”

Our Lady of the Lake University had partnered for a voter registration event last fall where we discovered the League of Women Voters was running a youth contest in visual art and written word on the topic “Why Voting is Important to You.” The contest was open to both college and high school students with two categories for entries, Written Word and Visual Art.

We are proud to recognize the winning work fo Daniella Bocker and Emelia Garcia!
