REMINDER: Download InformaCast & Campus Safety

On behalf of Our Lady of the Lake University, we extend our sincere gratitude to all faculty, staff, and students for your cooperation, support, and active participation in the recent speaker system checks conducted through InformaCast.

Your engagement in these tests plays a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of our emergency communication systems. These checks are part of an ongoing initiative to enhance campus safety and preparedness, and your involvement helps us identify areas for improvement and maintain a secure environment for everyone.

Our next scheduled speaker system check will take place in September. As we continue to refine and strengthen our emergency notification capabilities, we encourage all members of the OLLU community to download the InformaCast Mobile App. This app is a critical component of our communication strategy, allowing users to receive real-time alerts and updates directly to their mobile devices, regardless of location.

  • Testing Date: September 4th
  • Time: TBD
  • Location: Campus-wide – mobile devices, desktops, landlines.

To stay informed during real emergencies and important campus alerts, we encourage all students, faculty, and staff to download the InformaCast Mobile app. You can find it in your device’s app store by searching for “InformaCast Mobile.” Once installed, follow the setup instructions provided by our IT department to ensure you are properly connected to the university’s notification system.

We appreciate your continued dedication to campus safety and thank you once again for your participation in this important initiative. If you have any questions or need assistance with the app, please don’t hesitate to contact the IT Help Desk.

Thank you for helping us keep OLLU safe and informed.

OLLU Featured in Today’s Catholic: Honoring the Legacy of Blessed John Martin Moye

Our Lady of the Lake University is proud to be featured in the July 4 issue of Today’s Catholic newspaper. This special spotlight includes a reflective article by Dr. Jessica González Uhlig, OLLU’s Vice President for Institutional Enrollment, who explores the powerful legacy of our university’s founder, Blessed John Martin Moye.

We invite you to read the full article and reflect on how the mission and values of Blessed John Martin Moye are being lived out across our campus. The article appears on page 14 of the publication and serves as a reminder that Moye’s spirit is not just a part of our past—it’s alive and thriving in the OLLU community every day.
