Incoming freshmen, transfer students and international students spent the weekend learning about their new home as part of the Lake Orientation OLLU-Star Weekend for new undergraduate students. Students and their families learned about the University and its traditions and history, met faculty staff and students, and learned about University resources, all while having a good time.
The incoming undergraduate class includes 377 new, first-year students, 143 transfer students and seven international students.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend Providence Assembly on Wednesday from 12:30-1:15 p.m. in Sacred Heart Chapel. The Providence Assembly gathers the entire OLLU community to officially start the academic year and welcomes the newest members of OLLU. During the assembly, the community will commit to the Mission, Vision and Core Values of OLLU. Each participant will receive a small cross as a symbol of the University’s trust in Providence. Major University initiatives for the upcoming year will also be highlighted during the assembly.
