Starting Tuesday, the Registrar’s Office will be closed on the third Tuesday of each month from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. through the end of the spring semester.

Applications for the TExAS FAST scholars program and academic scholarships are now open (priority deadline is March 1).
All students majoring or minoring in Environmental Science and Sustainability are eligible to apply for the academic scholarship. Incoming freshmen and rising sophomores are eligible to apply for the scholars program. An announcement flyer is below, along with a a link to the program website where applications can be found:

The U.S. Department of Education has announced that FAFSA data will not be released to colleges and universities until mid-March. This means that OLLU will not be able to begin creating financial aid packages until late March or possibly early April. All colleges and universities are experiencing this same delay. It was caused by the launch of the new, simplified FAFSA form.
If you have not yet completed your FAFSA, you are strongly encouraged to do so now. The FAFSA is available at http://www.studentaid.gov.

The Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1916 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the Sisters of Divine Providence in Texas.
Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students who are relatives of OLLU alumni. Alumni of Our Lady of the Lake College or High School can sponsor a relative to be considered for this scholarship. The relative can be currently enrolled or planning to attend.
The Alumni Scholarship application for fall 2024 and spring 2025 is now open. Undergraduate students may download the complete application or visit the Alumni Office in Casa Caritas to pick up an application.
The Application Deadline is Monday, April 1, 2024.

Starting Tuesday, Feb. 20, the Registrar’s Office will be closed for Professional Development on the third Tuesday of each month from Noon until 5 p.m. through the end of the spring semester.
Tawana Smith and Stephanie Valverde, first-year doctoral students in Social Work, will present at the 36th annual National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education (NCORE 2024), which will be held May 18 through June 1 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
This marks the first time that first-year students in the Social Work doctoral program will present at the prestigious conference.

The Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year. McNair Scholars are guided through research and scholarly activities by a faculty mentor, receive guidance and support with the graduate school admission process, as well as additional personal and professional development opportunities to prepare for graduate studies.
