Dr. Green to present Moody Foundation lecture tomorrow

Mark_GreenMark Green, PhD, OLLU’s 2013-2014 Moody Professor, will present his public lecture, “Evidence of Leadership: The Story Told by 10,000 Statistical Analyses from the Peer-Reviewed Literature,” tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. in Main Building, Room 311.

Dr. Green is a professor of Leadership Studies. He currently teaches doctoral classes in leadership and has chaired more than 40 doctoral dissertations. He has published research articles in peer-reviewed literature in areas such as spirituality and leadership, language and leadership, and various predictors of successful leadership.

During his lecture, he will present information on the more than 2,000 peer-reviewed studies that have employed data collection and statistical analyses, resulting in more than 10,000 published statistical analyses. Collectively, these analyses provide a body of evidence for effective and ineffective aspects of leadership.

The Moody Professorship is a shared program with the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW). It was established in 1971 through a gift from the Moody Foundation of Galveston. It provides two endowed professorships each year – one at OLLU and one at UIW. Moody professors from both universities present public lectures on each campus.

For those who are unable to attend the lecture, it will be livestreamed. Use this link to view the lecture.
