Ellman, a freshman from Burbank, Calif., also dashed toward the end to clock a time of 20:50.98. Freshman Sammy Bonilla from McAllen was among the leaders for the first few laps, but fell behind. He still finished at an impressive eighth place for a time of 21:26.25. Winning the meet was NCAA DIII Trinity University, who recorded 21 points and OLLU logged 42 points. Other NCAA DIII schools Texas Lutheran University had 80 points and Schreiner finished with 110 points. The Saints will travel to Abilene next to participate in the McMurry University Bill Libby Invite on Sept. 6.
