Join SisterStory to learn more about the CDPs

SisterStory is a group for young women on campus to share their impressions of the Sisters of Divine Providence through interviews, blogs and social media. This is a great opportunity to learn about the life of being a Sister—the vows of poverty, celibacy and obedience, as well as the experience of living in community and the desire to belong totally to God.

Participants will be paired with a Sister companion during the fall semester, blog about their experience, and interview, videotape and transcribe their Sister’s story for a collection in a national database. The database will mark the impact Sisters have on social, spiritual, economic and political life in the United States.

Those young women who are interested should contact Jacqueline Walter, director of the Center for Women in Church and Society, at 210-313-0839 or jwalter@ollusa.edu.
