OLLU Pride Week begins today

Spirit-Day-2014OLLU Pride Week begins today as a tradition that celebrates OLLU’s history and Core Values. The week is filled with activities for the OLLU community with the highlight of the week being Spirit Day on Thursday.

The OLLU community is encouraged to attend the Spirit Day Celebration: Living Abundantly in the Spirit. OLLU has been celebrating Spirit Day for 26 years. Spirit Day is based on the Western European tradition that dates from the Middle Ages when university communities would celebrate a special Mass to seek the spirit of wisdom at the beginning of an academic year. A celebration of food, music, dancing and games takes place after Mass in the Mall Area.

University Ministry is selling Spirit Day T-shirts at the Elliott House. Shirts are $12 for one or two for $20. Contact University Ministry at 210-434-3973 or ministry@ollusa.edu for more information.
