The Red River Athletic Conference announced that Kendall Groff was named Hitter of the Week, Alexia Bustamante, Setter of the Week and Alexandra Wilborn, Libero of the Week over the dates Sept. 22-28. Groff propelled the Saints to a 2-1 week including extending NAIA No. 2 University of Texas at Brownsville to a fifth set. UTB had not faced a fourth set in conference competition since 2011, and it hasn’t lost a conference match since 2008. For the week, Groff had 25 kills on 46 attacks with seven errors for a .391 hitting percentage. Bustamante piled up 51 assists, a kill and 11 digs for the week. Wilborn accounted for 45 digs, including a 34-dig performance against Brownsville.
