CMASR hosting film screening on the Pueblo Revolt with acclaimed filmmaker

The OLLU community is invited to join the Center for Mexican American Studies and Research and filmmaker John Jota for a screening of the animated documentary, “Frontera! Revolt and Rebellion on the Rio Grande Valley,” Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Providence Hall, Blue Room. After the screening, Jota will discuss his art, documentary films, and performances focusing on the convergence of memory, social space and decolonization. “Frontera!” chronicles the Pueblo Revolt of 1680 through Native American and Chicano narrators, humor, music and cartoons.
