The OLLU community is invited to join in OLLU’s Black History Month Celebration, “Honoring the Heritage-Embracing the Dream.”

Events taking place this week include:

Wednesday:

• Short film series – “Against All Odds: The Artists of the Harlem Renaissance” – 12:30 p.m.- Main Building, Room 311

Friday:

• Prime Time Movie Night, Part 1 – “Selma” with discussion – 4 p.m. – City Base Theater

Sunday:

• Gospel Experience – 4:30 p.m. – Sacred Heart Chapel (a soul food dinner will follow the event)
• Liturgy – 7 p.m. – Sacred Heart Chapel

The Black History Month celebration is sponsored by the President’s Office, Student Leadership and Development, the Student Success Center, the Center for Women in Church and Society and the Center for Mexican American Studies and Research.
