In honor of Women’s History Month, several OLLU departments have teamed up to present, “Women’s Herstory Month,” a month-long series of events celebrating women of courage, character and commitment. The series opens Thursday with “Mujeres: Pride of the Westside,” at 6 p.m. in Providence Hall, Blue Room.
The opening ceremony will feature an indigenous ceremony, a screening of a short film, and a performance by OLLU’s own Bianca Sapet. There will also be an exhibit highlighting the work of several women from the Westside. Works will be on display until May 15.
