The women’s basketball team has already won the Red River Athletic Conference regular season earning them an automatic bid to its fourth NAIA DI Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament, but a tournament title was within reach. Unfortunately, the Saints fell short and lost the conference’s championship game 93-82 to Langston University. The Saints will now get back to work on Monday to prepare for the NAIA tournament that takes place March 18-24 at Independence, Missouri.
