Mandatory Training for all OLLU employees continue this week

As announced by President Slater on March 25, the University has a new “Sexual Misconduct Policy and Grievance Procedure.” The University places special emphasis on its core values of community, integrity, trust, and service, and must ensure an educational experience free of sexual harassment, misconduct, violence or discrimination.

Given the serious nature of these issues, training sessions on University policies and procedures have been scheduled.

All OLLU employees must complete the mandatory training by attending one of the following hour-long sessions:

  • Tuesday April 28 – 3:30 p.m. – Providence Hall, West Social Room
  • Tuesday April 28 – 6 p.m. – Providence Hall, West Social Room
  • Thursday April 30 – 12:30 p.m. – Providence Hall, West Social Room
  • Thursday April 30 – 3 p.m. – Providence Hall, West Social Room

  • Friday May 1 – 2 p.m. – Providence Hall, West Social Room
  • Tuesday May 5 – 9 a.m. – University Wellness and Activities Center, Room 104

There is no need to register, but attendees are asked to arrive five minutes early to sign in. Attendance will be monitored by the Human Resources Office and the President’s Council.

All employees must complete the mandatory training by May 5, 2015. The “Sexual Misconduct Policy and Grievance Procedure” can be found at http://www.ollusa.edu/sexualmisconductpolicy.
