The softball team fell in extra innings to the University of the Southwest (USW) in a semifinal matchup 3-1 in the Red River Athletic Conference Softball Tournament at Oran Good Park. The Saints ended their season with a 39-14 overall record. Senior Katrisha Arocha pitched through nine innings allowing four hits and three runs. She faced 34 batters striking out 16 and walked one.
