OLLU’s Patricia Constantin named RRAC SID of the Year

PattyPatty Constantin stands alone as the only sports information director Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) has ever known and, now, she holds another distinction as the 2014-15 Red River Athletic Conference Sports Information Director of the Year as announced today by the conference.

Constantin was selected in a vote by conference peers with all RRAC member SIDs voting. The award recognizes the individual who has performed the best at promoting their school’s athletic program, assisting fellow SIDs, serving the conference, maintaining timely and accurate information, driving media coverage, conducting game day operations, and managing digital and social outreach. In 2007, Constantin started the Saints’ sports information department when the school’s athletic program came into existence with just two sports. This year, the number grew to 14 with the addition of baseball and men’s and women’s track and field. Beyond the additional commitment to cover more sports, Constantin again raised the bar on how OLLU is promoted. Read full story online.
