More than 20 incoming freshmen will be on campus for a two-week, resident summer bridge program known as “Math Matters.” This new program is for incoming freshmen who are looking for an innovative way to reconnect with algebra and mathematical thinking. The program will use thought experiments and hands-on activities to rebuild skills and re-familiarize students with the algebra concepts they need to perform well in their introductory math classes.
