Two original members of OLLU’s first soccer teams continue to excel as they pursue their chosen careers. Tomas Flores, among the first student-athletes to be recruited for OLLU’s first men’s soccer team in 2007, graduated from OLLU in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. This week, Flores passed his National Physical Therapy Examination (or Board Exam) and is now an official Doctor of Physical Therapy. Christine Walker, a member of OLLU’s first women’s soccer team that started competing in 2008, graduated from OLLU in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. Recently, Walker graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School at Western Michigan University. She completed her Juris Doctorate after an internship in Washington, D.C. at the D.C.
